Hi All..Welcome to my website.
I'm Debashish Samal. I was born in Orissa, India.
Photography is something that I stumbled upon accidentally. Though it has always been there in my subconscious, it did not manifest itself, until I met David in Malaysia. I'm quite amazed by God's creation of 7 colors and the magic that these 7 colors create at every juncture of our lives. I love nature where these colors are mavericks at their best. There is no end to nature's beauty and the more I see, the more I marvel and the more I ask for.
Travel is my passion. What attracts me most is diversity. I feel nice when I find myself in an unknown land, surrounded by unknown people. Being an outsider, I have never felt like that. Language barriers can be daunting but it can be easily overcome by a simple act of smile or gesture of hand. Travel gives me a lot of opportunity to meet people from different cultures and religion. We are all God's creation and a small respect for each other can go a long way. I always try to capture human emotion which is so wonderful.
When I see the huge waves in ocean, towering mountains, spectacular sun rise, beautiful sun set, never ending blue oceans, mesmerizing waterfalls, rolling hills, huge volcano I marvel God's creation. I always try to capture this amazing beauty in my camera.
